Butler baseball blanks Penn Hills, 10-0
The Butler baseball team got its offense going.
The Golden Tornado scored
10 runs and Alec Bayer pitched three shutout innings to lead Butler to a 10-0,
five-inning win over Penn Hills.
“It was nice. As the game
went along, the kids started to relax and we got some hits,” said Butler coach
Todd Erdos. “There was more energy and more confidence.”
Adam Hohn had a single and
a double and Cade Negley, Sam Gross and Bayer each drove in two runs for the
Golden Tornado (2-1).
