Butler girls win again

Forbes, Maier key victory at Shaler

Sarayne Forbes scored 14 points — sinking four treys — and Makenna Maier sank 10 of 11 free throws Monday night as the Butler girls basketball team won at Shaler, 45-31.

The Golden Tornado (4-3, 4-2) won their third straight game. Aubree Tack contributed five steals and three assists.

Shaler fell to 2-7, 2-5 with the loss.

Butler hosts Penn-Trafford on Thursday.
