Butler’s girls basketball team clinched a WPIAL Class 6A playoff berth with a 40-37 victory over host Pine-Richland.

Amelia McMichael (13 points), Avery Maier (10) and Sydney Patterson (9) led the way for the Golden Tornado (10-9, 5-4 Section 1-6A).
