From Wags to Nowa: It's been a great ride.
I would like to thank you for everything you've done for this team. You are
the best player that I've ever seen that has donned a Butler uniform and I hope,
no I know, that you will have an excellent career at Bowling Green. Who knows?
Maybe in four years we'll see you play for, say, the Minnesota Lynx. That would
be irony--playing for Suzie McConnell-Serio. See ya around and good luck!
From Wags to M.C.: What can I say to the
young lady that has led this team the past two years? For starters, thank you.
Thank you for being one helluva point guard and keeping the rest of the team
together and calm in the close games. I'm not sure where you're going for college,
but I can guarantee that you'll do great. Again thank you and good luck!
From Wags to Holly: Ah, the Renaissance
woman. The only player, that I remember anyway, that can play any position on
the floor. How do I know that? Because you did. You never complained when Danielle
was on the floor at the end of the game or if you didn't get the ball in the
closing seconds. A real team player. Again I don't know where your post-secondary
education will take you, but you should do fine. Don't give up on basketball;
you never know what can happen. Thank you and good luck!
