Butler boys soccer team outlasts NA, 1-0, in OT

The last time the Butler boys soccer team played North Allegheny, the Golden Tornado lost 4-0.
This time was different.
Steven Benson scored on a penalty kick four minutes into overtime and Butler goalkeeper Adam Voelker made several outstanding saves in the 1-0 win over the Tigers Tuesday night.
“It's exciting,” said Butler coach Troy Mohney. “It's exciting to have such a turnaround against the same team.”
The win is an important one for Butler (8-5, 6-3) in the section, moving the Golden Tornado ahead of NA (9-3, 5-3) into second place behind Seneca Valley.
“We still have three section games left,” Mohney said. “And all three are important.”
