Butler Junior High Wrestling team defeated section rival Seneca Valley by an impressive 79-12 score. The Junior High “GT” got out to an early 33-0 lead and never looked back. This extends their winning streak to 11 matches and puts their season record at 12-1.

Winning by fall for the tornado were Cody Houston, Mason Kauffman, Xavier Bennett, David Slomers, Will Bortmas, Ryan Hannon, and Zack Weaver.

Winning by decision were Korey Caudill and Jake Olenick. Patrick Lokhaiser earned a major decision.

Picking up forfeits were Connor Foust, Jared Hinkle, Ryan Horstman, and Matt Kenyon.

The outstanding wrestler for the night was David Slomers for his double leg and lift right into a half and pinning his opponent early in the first period. Great Job David!
