The Golden Tornado Wrestling team traveled to Knoch for a section dual with the Knights. Butler dominated the match and won a 67-6 victory over their hosts. The win ran the GT’s dual meet record to 10 wins and 1 loss on the season, and 3 wins and 0 loses in Section 3. Recording individual victories were Cody Houston, Blake Caudill, Korey Caudill, Xavier Bennett, Zach Collins, Jesse Spohn, Doug DeFrancisis, Dillon Weston, Mike Crawford, Dakoda Collins, Matt Pribis, Cole Baxter and Tim Fulks. The team will travel to Kittanning this Saturday for five duals. Butler will return home next Wednesday night to face Fox Chapel with post season tournament implications on the line. The first 100 students that pay admission to the match will receive a free Butler Wrestling T-Shirt. Come out and check out the team and “Get Behind Tornado Wrestling”!
