Last Wednesday night the Butler Golden Tornado Junior High Wrestling team improved their record to 7-0 with an 83-12 win over Knoch. Winning by fall for the “GT” were Mason Kauffman, Zak Hutchison, Josh Boozel, Jeremiah Bortmas, Will Bortmas, and Ryan Hannon. Winning by major decision were Zack Hunka (14-5) and Kirk Gibson (10-2). David Slomers picked up a 7-3 decision. Winning by forfeit for Butler were Hugh O’Neil, Mike Vought, Connor Foust, Zack Raible, and Austin George.

The junior high “GT” travel to Brookville this Friday and Saturday for a 2-day tournament.

The next home match for Junior High is next Wednesday Jan 12^th vs Fox Chapel. The match begins at 5:00 at the intermediate high school gym. Come see the undefeated Junior High “GT” wrestling team in action.
