The Butler Junior High "GT" Wrestling team used a strong showing to win the 24 team NA Tournament. The Golden Tornado used 8 place winners to take the title.

Butler's lone Champion was Christian Sequete at 145 lbs. Christian used 3 pins to get to the finals but found himself in a war in the finals. Christian got the first take down of the match. The Ft. Lebouf wrestler had Christian on his back and nearly pinned in the 2nd period to take the lead then Christian reversed him and nearly pinned him. Christian had a 2 point lead with only seconds remaining but his opponent scored a reversal to tie the match and nearly won with near fall points (1 count). In overtime Christian secured the takedown to win the match.
