junior high wrestlers place 2nd
Butler’s junior high wrestling team placed
second at the Norwin Duals.
The effort included four team wins, including a 54-43 victory over Plum after the Golden
Tornado had fallen into a 37-12 hole. Byron Manchester used a first-period fall
to start the comeback. Colin Hoffman, after being down 9-1, came back to get a
fall in the 2nd period.
Other wins came against Pine-Richland
(74-15), Gateway (94-3) and Upper St. Clair (75-15) before the Tornado fell in
the title match to Norwin.
