pitched and scattered three hits over seven innings.
Tom Bruce hit a three-run triple and McKee
and Zach Rader had two hits each.

Matt Monnie struck
out four as Butler's freshman baseball team improved to 3-1
with a recent 13-3 win over Fox Chapel.
John Crummy had three singles
and four RBI while Tony Fudoli
added two singles and an RBI for the Golden
Tornado.

North Hills - 7
Butler - 9
The Butler Junior High Tornado squad erased a four-run deficit
in the 6th with a 6 run barrage. RBI singles by Matt
McCune, Todd Walker, and a two-run double by Matt
Schnur, his third of the afternoon, highlighted the comeback.
Schnur went 4 for 4 with 4 RBI. Tony
Rossmiller (2-1) went the distance for Butler(5-4)
striking out 8 Indians..
Butler-2
Seneca Valley-1
A great section game played at Seneca Valley
now leaves the junior Tornado squad at (4-4). Led by Trevor
Dunkel's complete 7 inning game allowing only one
run while registering 5 strike-outs.
Joe "Pip" Rekich tied the contest in the
sixth at (1-1) driving in Trevor Dunkle who singled earlier.
Matt Schnur hit into fielder choice driving in Rekich with
the go ahead and winning run. Tony
Rossmiller led the Golden Tornado defensively with
4 put outs and a double play.

North Hills - 1
The Junior High Tornado opened section play on a winning
note at North Hills. The Golden Tornado (1-0) were paced
offensively by Designated Hitter Matt
McCune who doubled twice in the tight contest. Tony
Rossmiller made his debut on the mound a memorable
one by striking out 13 Indians.
