The Butler JV volleyball team defeated Pine
Richland Monday October 1, with scores of 15-8 and
15-12. Lexxie Flatt led the
team with 2 aces, 7 assists, and 3 kills. Kat
Smith added 5 kills, while Amanda
Cicero and Sarah Ivancik
had 4 kills each. Jasmine Mehelick
led the defense with 3 aces, and 17 passes to target. Good
job ladies.

The JV Volleyball team defeated North
Hills 2-0, October 2, with scores of 15-6 and 15-5.
Serena Brandt led in serving with 4 aces. Katie
Mohr followed with 2 aces. Amanda
Cicero led the offense with 6 kills and Erin
Parkinson added 3 kills as well. The team will face
Pine Richland away on October
4th.

Wilmington Tournament
Congratulations to the JV girls volleyball team. The team
traveled to New Willmington on Saturday September 8 to compete
in a tournament. The girls walked away claiming the first
place title. The winning Butler team consisted of: Lexxie
Flatt, Katie Mohr, Amanda Cicero, Katherine Smith, Laura
Davis, Jasmine Mehelick, Erin Parkinson, Mandy Kennedy,
Serena Brandt, Rose Collier, and Sarah Ivancik. Congratulations
to the girls, come support them at their next home game
on Tuesday when they host Pine Richland.

Tornado takes the Wind out of North Hills
The J.V. girls volleyball team defeated North Hills yesterday
2-0 with scores of 15-9, and 16-14. Katherine
Smith led the team with 5 aces. Erin
Parkinson was the top spiker with 5 kills.
Lexxie Flatt added 9 assists to take the team to
victory. The girls' will host Pine Richland on Tuesday at
6 pm for their next home game.

Hampton on Tuesday, September 18th, and defeated them in
two games. Leading the Tornado was Lexxie
Flatt with 8 aces and 12 assists. Katherine
Smith had 7 kills, and Amanda
Cicero and Sarah Ivancik
added 3 kills each for the win. Good passes were made by
Mandy Kennedy and Jasmine
Mehelik.

The JV girls defeated North
Allegheny 2-0 on Thursday, September 20th. Lexxie
Flatt led the girls with 9 aces, and really good
sets. Katherine Smith
had 8 kills. Amanda Cicero had
4 excellent blocks. And great passes were made by
Laura Davis, Jasmine Mehelik, and
Katie Mohr. Awesome job ladies.
