Zeke O'Donnell picked up the shutout in goal for the Golden Tornado (12-3-1, 7-2).

Butler 2, Bethel Park 1 (2OT)
Jake Gamble scored the game-winning goal with five minutes left in double overtime as the Tornado stunned the previously undefeated Black Hawks.
Alex Crouse assisted on the goal. The Golden Tornado's goal in regulation was scored by Jake Huey, assisted by Gamble.
Zeke O'Donnell made several saves for Butler (11-3-4).
Bethel Park entered the game with a 15-0 record, outscoring its opposition 106 to 9, with 10 shutouts.

The Golden Tornado Boys soccer team won the Hempfield Tournament for the third successive year, defeating Gateway 3-0 in the finals..
Jake Gamble scored two goals with Ryan Armahizer adding a goal and assist in the championship game. The Golden Tornado defeated Latrobe, 2-0, in the semifinal round.
Jake Huey registered two goals as Butler dispatched Greensburg Central Catholic 3-1 in the first round of the tournament.
Butler 3, Baldwin 0 Ryan Armahizer scored all three goals for the Golden Tornado (4-0) and goalie Zeke O'Donnell got the shutout.

Jake Campbell scored the game-winning goal in overtime on an assist from Blake McChesney as the Golden Tornado defeated the Titans. McChesney also scored a goal in the win.

Ryan Armahizer and Doug Moran each tallied a goal to lead the Butler boys soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Bethel Park. Ben Horner assisted on both goals for Butler.

Wade Grubbs and Doug Moran each scored goals to lift the Butler boys soccer team to a 2-0 shutout win over Fox Chapel.
Butler goalkeepers Tim Duffy and Zeke O'Donnell kept the Foxes off the scoreboard.

Doug Moran tallied two scores while Taylor Blose and Ben Horner each scored once.

Butler 4, Shaler 0 — Jake Huey, Andrew Schnur, Ryan Guiste and Ben Horner scored for the Golden Tornado (17-1-1), who wrapped up their first section title since 1994.
Troy Mohney, the team's current coach, played on that 1994 squad.
Tim Duffy was the winning goalkeeper for Butler, which outscored its opponents 58-13 this season.
"After our loss to Pine-Richland, we concentrated on our defense and we've given up just one goal since,"Butler coach Troy Mohney said.

The Golden Tornado warmed up for their section finale by dominating the Cavaliers in a non-section affair.

Junior midfielder Andrew Schnur scored two first half goals and teammates Jake Huey and Nathan McCandless tallied insurance scores in the second half for Butler.

Travis Reges (Butler), a senior midfielder for the Thiel College men's soccer team, was named to the all-tournament team following the Penn State-Altoona Fall Invitational.

Wade Grubbs also scored for the Golden Tornado, who took a 3-0 lead by halftime.
Armahizer's goal, off a rebound, upped the count to 4-0 before Matt Hickey scored the Rams' lone goal.
